“Luxuries,” in the plural, is the title of the exhibition curated at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs by its director, Olivier Gabet. Around 250 objects from around the world trace 4,000 years of luxury history — from an Egyptian kohl spoon to a haute couture gown, a Renaissance Venetian glass, or a contemporary necklace by Elie Top. A conversation exploring the many facets of this fascinating concept.
