It's easy to assume that Elie Top's bee-buzzing and sunflower-swathed jewelery collection for Zara is singularly inspired by the natural world. But those familiar with the Parisian jeweler's designs – which celebrate secret closures and compartments and have taken inspiration from medieval metaphysics and even the entire universe – know there's always something else at play.
